I must admit that I’m salivating a bit just thinking about today’s Superbowl Snack….How can you go wrong mixing cheese and bread?! My mom made this for my recent baby shower, and I could not stop eating it!  I KNOW you all are going to love this one! So tasty….so addicting…cheesy, garlicky goodness…mmmmmm!

1 loaf ciabatta bread

1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine

1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese (I like to use a little bit more than a cup.)

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

2 green onions chopped
Sounds amazing already doesn’t it? Seriously, my stomach is growling….

To Prepare:

Split your ciabatta bread in half. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, cheese, garlic, and onions. Mix well. Slather the butter mixtures onto each half of the ciabatta bread. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is nice and bubbly.  Let the bread cool just a bit, and then cut into strips. Eat several strips….try to stop….give in and eat some more! This is some of the best bread I have ever had! I know you’re gonna love it!
