Back to school time is my favorite time of year! Carried over from when I was a classroom teacher, I still can’t help but get excited about the hustle and bustle of a new schedule, the allure of sharpened pencils and new crayons, and the excitement children experience as they learn new things each day. However, with school comes new responsibilities, costs, and changes for moms and families. Three terrific companies have teamed up to lighten the load and share the joy of back to school in one AWESOME prize pack! As a busy mom of three, I am always excited about finding companies and products that can help make my life a little bit easier….and a little bit better! And, as a teacher, a mother ,and an overall lover of all things literacy-related, I am THRILLED to be a part of anything that helps put more books into the hands of children. Kelloggs, Scholastic, and Wal-Mart have joined forces to promote literacy through purchasing the convenient and tasty products you already know and love (and that can save a mom tons of time packing lunches, getting breakfasts made, handing out snacks, etc!) at a store that makes one-stop shopping truly do-able and affordable!

Right now, Kelloggs and Scholastic have teamed up to reward you with FREE books just for purchasing products you know and love! The next time you’re out doing your shopping, look for this symbol on certain Kelloggs products! Buy two, and $5 in free books is yours to enjoy! And, getting your free books is as easy as 1,2,3! Just look for the easy to follow instructions on the back of any specially marked Kelloggs product! 1. Purchase 2 of the specially marked Kelloggs products and look for the special code inside each box.

2. Enter the codes online at http://www.Scholastic.com/kellogg and download your coupon for $5 coupon good for Scholastic books or other products (see site for full details!)

3. Redeem your coupon through your child’s classroom teacher, or through Scholastic online (the site will give you complete step by step instructions!)

AND, you have until 7/1/12 to enter your codes!! There is no limit to how many $5 coupons you can redeem! Think of all the free books you can get for your children just by purchasing tasty and convenient products you already love! (And, don’t forget that each book you purchase through Scholastic helps your child’s teacher earn free books and products as well! As a former teacher, I am indebted to Scholastic for helping teachers grow their classroom libraries!)

I am SO excited to give away this prize pack! As a mom, this selection of goodies not only made my life easier, but were things my family loved! These companies are all about the Chasing Supermom trifecta…Cheap, Easy, The Kids Will Eat it! (Okay, the kids don’t eat books, but they do eat them up! )
