The birth of a new baby is always a momentous occasion and everyone will want to celebrate it with you. Depending on how loud – or low key – you wish to be about your baby’s arrival, there are a number of creative and cute ways to announce the birth of your new baby, which will also let everybody know how much you appreciate their thinking of you.

Personalized Baby Cards

Baby cards are a time old tradition which have never gone out of style, but of course in the 21st century they have been updated a little! When you buy baby cards at Little One Prints you can totally customise your card from font to photograph, and Little One Prints will even do all of the leg work for you by mailing your cards out on a specified date.

Set Up a Website or Blog

Many expectant parents set up a blog or website which documents the progression of their pregnancy, and on the big day they will blog, tweet or even video chat live from the birthing room! After your little one arrives you can snap a few cute pictures and upload them straight away, so no matter how far away your loved ones are they’ll be able to share in the joy.

Keep it Sweet!

Having little cakes made and delivered to your friends and family is a really cute way to announce the arrival of your new baby. Just don’t ice the date on until you’re sure! Alternatively some parents choose to send chocolate cigars or hand stamped chocolate bars for a wonderfully tasty way to announce good news.

Throw a Party

Some new parents like to celebrate in style. Make sure everyone knows when your (approximate) due day is and ask them to save the date on the following weekend for a celebration you’ll never forget. Just don’t make the mistake of trying to have the party as soon as you get home, and, if possible, get another friend or family member to host it!
