When I was a classroom teacher, one of my favorite things to do was set up my classroom. I always had so much fun creating bulletin boards and giving my room the small little finishing touches that put a smile on my students’ faces, and showed that I went the extra mile. I ALWAYS utilized
I recently took on the task of not only re-organizing the Sunday School classrooms at our church, but giving them a bit of a face-lift. I wanted to add just a touch of whimsy and fun to the rooms, and let the kids and families know just how much we care. (And I think a bit of decoration and “fun” really helps!) My mom and I had SO much fun getting the classrooms all spruced up, and the results were super cute!
I got a little help from the Boho Birds Bulletin Board Set. This 81 piece set is quickly becoming the best-seller for Carson-Dellosa – and it’s not hard to believe. This set was absolutely adorable! It came with enough bulletin board border to edge two full boards, and the sides of another huge board. It also comes with plenty of birds and a selection of tree branches. I had enough supplies from this steal of a buy to decorate 2 classrooms.
These birds are fool-proof, and will allow even the most craft-challenged person make their room look special. I also used an additional pack of Boho Birds Cut-Outs to add a few special touches throughout. We had birds perching on windows, the clock, and in a few other places around the rooms. The kids had so much fun trying to spot them all!
We added a paper tree for our feathered friends, and have our circle time bulletin board ready to go for the start of the year. As the kids sit down to hear the story, the warm colors and inviting decor help set the tone for learning…they know this is going to be special!
One very lucky Chasing Supermom reader will WIN the Boho Birds Bulletin Board Set that I used! You are going to love it!! Good luck!
