Last night, my family and I headed to the Moda Center in Portland to catch Disney On Ice – Rockin’ Ever After – and what an incredible show it was!

In true Disney-form, the show was full of MAGIC, delighting fans both young and old.  Come expecting music, dancing, theatrics, incredible aerial and skating stunts, and plenty of surprises along the way! This year’s show features four beloved Disney princesses – Ariel, Rapunzel, Merida, and Belle. Each “vignette” features the music you know and love, as well as pieces of the classic story.

Swim under the sea with Ariel, Sebastian, and friends. Be a guest at the table, as Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, Chip, and Cogsworth help make Belle feel welcome at the castle. Watch Rapunzel enjoy the floating lanterns. See Merida (and her 3 potential suitors) fight for her hand in an incredible archery competition. And of course, expect to see Mickey and his friends along the way as well! (Would a Disney show be complete without him?!)

photo (9)My family and I LOVED the show, and love that Disney On Ice has become a much-anticipated family tradition. As a mother, I love sharing the characters and stories I enjoyed as a child with my own children. I remember going to see The Little Mermaid in the theater as a child, and love that Ariel’s story is now a part of my children’s childhood as well. I had Beauty and the Beast memorized as a young girl, and love seeing my children experience the story – as I see it again through their eyes. This beautiful mix of classic Disney and new favorites, such as Tangled and Brave creates a truly special story-telling experience. I invite you to bring your children to a Disney on Ice show and see the stories that shaped your childhood and those that are shaping that of your children come alive.

These four Disney princesses all craved adventure. Have an adventure with YOUR family at Disney On Ice. Let it inspire you, spark your child’s imagination, and stir up wonderful feelings of nostalgia.

Ticket prices range from $18 – $62; tickets can be purchased online at RoseQuarter.com, charge by phone at 877-789-ROSE or with the venue Box Office.
