National Chili Month – Chili All Day Long

Chili Breakfast Burritos
Why not add a scoop of your favorite Hormel chili to your morning breakfast burrito? Eggs, chili, and cheese all wrapped up in a tortilla sounds great to me! If you need some inspiration, check out this breakfast burrito recipe from Hormel.
Chili Cheese Frito Wraps
This is a favorite of mine, and so easy! Spread some Hormel chili in a large flour tortilla. Top with grated cheddar cheese, Fritos, and diced onion. Roll up and enjoy.
Chili on Chips
When I was in elementary school, my FAVORITE hot lunch was chili on chips. We often have this at home when we are short on time. Top tortilla chips with Hormel chili, cheese, and the toppings of your choice. Simple, tasty, and heartier than regular nachos.
In Ohio, (where my husband is from), there is a restaurant chain that is famous for chili-topped spaghetti. We have been re-creating this at home for years using Hormel Chili No Beans. Simply cook up spaghetti noodles, and top with the chili, grated cheese, and the toppings of your choice. (I like tomatoes!)
Chili Mac is another highly nostalgic meal for me. I admit, I still love this simple yet tasty meal. You can create your own version using your favorite mac and cheese, and a can of Hormel chili. Add depth to the dish by adding a pound of ground turkey or beef, and a can of corn or tomatoes.
We love creating all kinds of pizza at our house. I loved this creative idea from Hormel for a chili-topped pizza!
