Chasing Supermom’s Guide to Seattle – Powered by Marriott
Being a native of Washington, and living just a few hours south of Seattle, I have many fond memories of time spent there. My family and I have enjoyed lots of day and weekend trips to Seattle, and love all of the sites, attractions, and facets of big-city life that Seattle has to offer. Whether you’re looking for a fun girls trip, a family day-trip, or a romantic night out with your someone special, Seattle is the place to go!
My friends at Marriott created this great infographic, sharing some of the best attractions and sites the Seattle area has to offer. Check it out, and start planning your trip!
Chasing Supermom Recommends….
Pikes Place – Stroll through the famous outdoor marketplace. Watch fish fly, sample artisnal food, or have a cup of coffee at the flagship Starbucks. This is the perfect place for a morning walk or an afternoon of people watching! I’ve discovered some great products at this market. It’s a must-see for tourists!
The Museum of Flight – My husband and I visited this museum for the first time several years ago, and we cannot wait to bring our children back. I had SO much fun immersing myself in the history found inside this museum. Climb aboard Air Force One (that Eisenhower-Nixon used) , discover the back-stories of WW1 and WW2 pilots, and try your hand at a few flight simulators. Young and old will love this museum.
Seattle Center – I could spend HOURS at the Seattle Center. The fountain is one of my favorite spots in the world to spend an afternoon. There is much to explore and discover in this heart of downtown Seattle. From this hub, walk to the Space Needle, the Experience Music Project, or hop on the monorail.
Washington State Ferries – No trip can be complete without a ride on a ferry. There is nothing like the view of the Seattle shoreline from a boat. It is gorgeous! Make sure to bring your camera!
