*This post is sponsored by Ricola. I received a Ricola prize pack to facilitate my post. All opinions are my own.

As the cold and flu season hits its peak this month, Ricola ®, the leading manufacturer of soothing herb cough drops from Switzerland, is encouraging consumers to trade in their sick days for well days by inviting them to “Call in Well.”

Instead of calling in sick, keep your family healthy (with the help of Ricola) and “call in well!” What would you do with a well day?

Now through January 31st, consumers can call 1-855-4-WELLDAY or text RICOLA (22122) to share what fun things they’d do if they took a “well day” off. One lucky winner per day will win $500. Visit Ricola’s Facebook page for official rules.

This time of year, germs and “sick bugs” abound. Kids are bringing home germs from school. The man behind you in line at the grocery store is coughing. People everywhere are sick – and eager to “spread the love.” BUT, there are steps you can take to feel better! Forget about surviving winter – let’s get out there and ENJOY it!!

I’ll admit that I like to work. I feel happy and accomplished at the end of the day when I’ve gotten a fair amount of writing done and sit in a clean house. However, I’ve been feeling the need to add a little more fun to my days. A “well” day sounds amazing. For me, the perfect “well” day would be packing up the whole family and making a morning stop at our favorite coffee shop. After enjoying some hot beverages, we’d drive down the beautiful Columbia Gorge, and take in the amazing scenery of the Pacific NW. We’d wrap up our day with a family dinner and a movie. Sounds awesome right?

Get healthy this winter, and call in well!

The goal for the Ricola “Call in Well” promotion is to remind everyone there are steps you can take to feel better this time of year – that way you can go out and enjoy all the great things winter has to offer. We would like to invite you to write a blog post sharing what you would do on your “well day” off. We also ask that you encourage your readers to enter to win a “well day” off“.

One very lucky Chasing Supermom reader is going to discover the power of Ricola’s swiss herbs and WIN!!
