*I received free items to help me host my party as part of the Disney Social Media Moms. All opinions are my own.

What is better than a party sprinkled with a bit of pixie dust? Most people who know me, know just how much I love all things Disney, so I jumped at the chance to celebrate with a little help from Jake and the Never Land Pirates! So climb aboard me hearties, and join us for a little preschool playdate – Disney style!

We invited a group of our friends and their children over to celebrate and join in our pirate fun! The kids had a blast looking through their pirate telescopes and wore their gold doubloon necklaces with such pride. Even my older kids got on board and joined in the fun.

No party is complete without treats! To celebrate, I made a pirate’s treasure chest cake! It was a BIG hit! To create the cake, I simply baked my favorite flavor of cake into a loaf pan. Once baked and cooled, I cut the top of the cake off, and then secured it to the bottom using Clif Kid Bars (one of our favorite snacks and grab & go breakfasts!) I borrowed some fancy treasure from my two  year old’s stash of play jewelry, and we were set!

Everyone at the party had a blast pretending to be a pirate for a day. Disney has a way of inspiring boundless creativity and pretend play ideas. What party will you dream up with a little help from your Preschool Disney friends? Have fun and don’t forget to show off your #disneyside.

I’d love to thank a few special sponsors that also made our Preschool Play Date possible:

Mega Bloks: We have worked with Mega Bloks MANY times here at Chasing Supermom, and are HUGE huge fans of their building toys. (My son is actually receiving a few sets for Christmas! Shhh don’t tell!)

Crunchmaster: Crunchmaster makes incredible (and good-for-you!) crisps for the whole family. We got to try the Grammy Crisps: Cinnamon & Sugar. These are delicious, and taste like an elephant ear without any guilt! They are gluten and peanut free and made with 100% whole grains. Super good!

Kinetic Sand from Spin Master – I cannot say enough about Kinetic Sand! Kinetic Sand actually made it into my Holiday Gift Guide for Kids Who Like Art this year! Kinetic Sand offers a tactile experience like no other. It’s pretty irresistible, SO much fun, and easier to clean up than many alternatives! You’ll love it!
