Well folks, it is a little late this week, but I wanted to make sure and get another weekly menu out to you today! I hope you all enjoyed your labor day weekend! I’ve decided that my weekly menu posts will become a regular feature here on chasingsupermom.com! Enjoy this week’s recipes, and as always, let me know if you try out any of my ideas or recipes! Monday: BBQ Hamburgers, fries, and fresh cantaloupe (You’ve gotta use that grill while you still can!)
Tuesday: Skyline Chili (This is a mid-west favorite that my husband introduced me to when we got together. There is actually a large chain of restaurants with the same name. Basically, skyline chili is spaghetti noodles topped with chili, grated cheese, onions, tomatoes, and any other topping you wish. We love it!)
Wednesday: Pizza Chicken, green beans, garlic bread (Season your chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a little Italian seasoning. Brown them off in a bit of olive oil. Then put them in a greased pan and top with your favorite pizza sauce, diced pepperoni, and any pizza veggies you may enjoy. Bake until chicken is cooked through. Top with mozzarella cheese during the last five minutes of baking!)
Thursday: Waffles with chocolate butter and vanilla whipped cream (To make the chocolate butter, simply add cocoa powder to softened butter, and mix well!)
Friday: Sub Sandwiches, chips, and fruit (No need to head to Subway, when you can get delicious sub rolls at your grocery store!)
Saturday: Tuna Casserole, rolls, and veggie
Sunday: Taco Soup in the crockpot
