Holy cow ladies have I got a snack for you! This is my first post in my Superbowl Snack Ideas series, and it is a keeper! To check out ALL of my Superbowl Snack Recipes, click here: Superbowl Snack Recipes! I’ve got to put up the warning that health nuts should run away…far far away…This amazingly delicious, (and addictive) snack will keep you coming back for more. It very well may be your favorite part of Superbowl Sunday. Trust me.
I can’t remember where I first got this recipe, but someone genius came up with this! I wish it had been me, but you have to give credit when credit is due. But seriously, whoever decided to mix cream cheese, chocolate, and butter is my kind of chef. =) (I told you…the health nuts should run away…) Okay, here we go!
Ingredients:
8 oz. cream cheese (softened) – You can use the low-fat or non-fat cream cheese too! (It helps make up for the butter..)
1 stick butter or margarine (softened)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 T brown sugar
1/2 t vanilla
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
graham cracker sticks to dip with!
To prepare:
Mix the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. (I use my KitchenAid for this!) Add in the sugars and the vanilla. Beat well. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips. Refrigerate for several hours until the mixture has firmed up. Shape into a ball (or serve out of a bowl.) Provide a variety of graham cracker sticks (I like the chocolate ones!) for dipping! You can also use pretzels, cookies, Nilla wafers, or fruit.
This is such a great recipe, and you and your family (and Superbowl guests) will LOVE it!

I can’t wait to try this, it looks sooooo good! Come by my blog sometime, I have a couple super bowl reicipes myself. http://datssocute.blogspot.com ♥ BJ
This is still one of my favorites!!! You can’t really know how good it actually is until you try it. I have brought this to sooo many gatherings and it goes a long way!!! I always use the mini chocolate chips because it’s easier to scoop on to crackers.
Mine is in refrigerator now and I am very excited!
Oh my goodness, this sounds amazing. What a fantastic dip to serve with fruit!
