Monday: Savory Potato Wraps – I will be making these as posted in the recipe, only using breaded chicken strips as the protein! So good, and SO easy to make!
Tuesday: Broiled Tilapia with rice and sauteed veggies – Healthy and tasty! My kids could live off of rice and veggies, so I am excited to try a fish dish this week and see how it goes over…I am making it with sides they love, just in case they’d rather “catch and release” their dinner. Don’t be scared to try new things…If your family doesn’t go for something, no big deal…If they love it, you have a new recipe and food to add to your rotation!
Wednesday: Beef Taco Bake – Very similar to the Chicken Tortilla Bake recipe I have posted previously, but another big favorite at the Lindner house! (This is also a pantry favorite, and uses up a lot of things you probably have on hand! Very easy to stretch with a can of black beans, green chiles, or corn as well!)
Thursday: Simple Chicken and Orzo Pilaf – Cook up some chicken tenders in a little bit of olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper before cooking. Prepare orzo as directed on the package. Saute onions, garlic, carrots, peppers, and celery in olive oil and/or butter. Add to cooked orzo, and top with grated parmesan cheese. Serve with the chicken! Easy, new, and delicious!
Friday: Taco Pizza – Grab a pre-made pizza crust or prepare your own. Spread the crust with a layer of refried or mashed black beans and a mixture of sour cream and salsa. Top with grated mexican blend cheese, onions, olives, tomatoes, etc. Garnish with crushed chips and chopped lettuce after pizza has cooked.
Saturday:Stuffed Biscuits – One of my recent moms in the spotlight, shared a favorite recipe of her family for stuffed biscuits! It has sounded so good to me and I am excited to try it out this week! Roll out tube biscuits and fill with a wide variety of fillings your family will enjoy! See the link for details!
Sunday: Grandma’s Swiss Steak – A family favorite! Sundays are the perfect day to pull out the crockpot as well! Throw in your ingredients first thing in the morning. When you get home from church, lunch is ready and waiting!
Happy meal planning everyone! Let me know if you tried or enjoyed a recipe! I love to hear from you!
