School is back in full swing, we’re settling into a routine, and I can pretend there is a nice chill in the air. Fall is the perfect time to start menu planning. There is something about this season that beckons me to the kitchen, and makes cooking dinner less of a chore. Like last week, I will once again be posting what we are actually eating this week.
Meal-planning takes the hassle out of cooking for me. I don’t mind the cooking…I just don’t like thinking up what to make! I love knowing that everything is already planned out, the ingredients are in the fridge, and I don’t have to throw something together at the last minute! I hope this resource at the very least, gives you a new idea or two, and gets you out of your dinner rut!
Today was Henry’s first day of preschool, so he was in charge of the day’s menu!
Homemade Pizza (with 20 minute pizza crust) with salad
Berry Surprise Cupcakes
Italian Cream Cheese Chicken with bow-tie noodles, and steamed broccoli
Tacos with strawberry pretzel JELL-O salad
Spaghetti Squash with Marinara Sauce and garlic bread
I will be working at the Girl Talk with Sheila Gregoire event! (If you are local, SW Washington/PDX area, please come on out!!!) My husband is running sound. The kids will eat with a sitter.
