My family and I were lucky enough to be guests at a Disney on Ice show in Portland this past week. In true Disney form, we were enchanted, delighted, and whisked away on a magical journey along with our favorite Disney characters. Dare to Dream is an incredible show full of music, magic, and lots of Disney surprises! Disney knows how to put on an AMAZING show!

Dare to Dream features some of the most classic moments from Disney’s Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, and Cinderella. Dare to Dream is a vibrant, contemporary compilation of princesses, features popular songs and unforgettable scenes from two of Disney’s newest fairytales and one of the most cherished stories of all time. Audiences will behold an alluring aerialist act with Rapunzel’s golden locks, shimmering gowns that twinkle and twirl during Cinderella’s royal ball, a lighting display that illuminates all the fireflies in Tiana’s New Orleans bayou and a grand finale with all the Disney princesses.

The Princess and the Frog opened the show with incredible musical numbers and plenty of enchantment. My kids were hooked from the first second! Their faces lit up with joy as they took in all of the action on the ice. They were absolutely mesmerized, and haven’t been able to stop talking about it since!  There was something special about seeing Cinderella and her prince ride by in their dazzling carriage, and there is nothing quite like an arena full of people singing Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo. Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder stole the show with their jaw-dropping aerial antics, as they swung over the ice on Rapunzel’s “hair.” In true Disney form, the finale was truly special, as all of the Disney princesses appeared together on the ice.

You and your children will LOVE Dare to Dream, and will cherish the memories you make as you take in the magic that only Disney can deliver. Check your area and see if Disney on Ice Dare to Dream will be in a city near YOU!

Doesn’t this sound like the PERFECT evening for you and your family?! I can’t wait! Check out showtimes, or visit Disney On Ice on Facebook or on Youtube.
