With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we begin to start thinking of ways to show the ones we love that we care. This year, why not approach Valentine’s Day as a day to celebrate the love of your family. For many busy parents like me, we find it difficult to get out of the house for a special date, so things like Valentine’s Day turn into a family event.

We make special treats, wear red and pink, and play special games together. I chose to order a jar of chocolate covered Oreo cookies.
Oh.My.Word. I made the right choice. This jar of chocolatey goodness put a HUGE smile on the face of everyone in my family. All of the kids were so excited to see the jar of beautifully packaged cookies, and couldn’t wait to dig in. These cookies are absolutely delicious. (And, I’m not too embarrassed to say that on occasion, I may or may not have locked myself in the bathroom or pantry to enjoy one without having to share…)
I also chose this item because of the beautiful glass canister. It has a vintage candy store feel, and works perfectly with my kitchen decor. Once the Oreos are gone (and there are only a few left!), we are going to use the jar as a blessing jar.
