I will never forget the look on my husband’s face when I told him he was going to be a father. With tears in my eyes, I excitedly gave him the news that we were going to have a baby. I watched his eyes light up as he pictured our family growing. He was going to be a dad! Each time I shared this special news with David, we knew our life was changing. Our family would never be the same. Finding out you’re going to be a parent is admittedly one of the most image010monumental days in a person’s life. When two lines appear…when you get the call that your family has been chosen…no matter how your family is put together, you’ll never forget the moment you knew it was actually happening.

I cherish my husband’s reaction, but think that moment would have gone differently if he’d been finding out he was the father of not one, (not four like he is), but the father of 533 children. This is the premise of Disney’s upcoming new film, Delivery Man.

In the film, the always lovable and comedic Vince Vaughn plays an affable underachiever looking for his purpose in life, when he finds out he’s image008 fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago. Now he must decide whether or not to come forward when 142 of them want to meet their biological father.

In addition to Vince Vaughn, Delivery Man also stars Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and one of my favorites, Chris Pratt!! (Parks and Recreation.) The movie is rated PG-13, and seems like a great date-night movie! I can’t wait to take my husband this November!

Delivery Man opens in theaters everywhere on November 22nd! See you at the movies this fall!
