Math can be fun and easy with this free Valentine’s Day printable that utilizes conversation hearts!
Last year, my daughter came home from her first grade Valentine’s Day party with 11 boxes of conversation hearts. 11. That’s a lot of hearts.
While some parents may scoff at the insane amount of sugar, I look at the boxes of treats as educational. I guess you could say I’m a learning opportunist – always looking for those teachable moments and everyday items that can double as learning tools.
I created this fun early learning math printable that is just right for kids in PreK-1st grade.
Before enjoying their sweet conversational treats, have your kids explore some basic math concepts. Using this free printable, kids can develop their graphing skills, practice most/least, one to one counting, and numeral writing. (And it’s fun!)

Happy learning and happy Valentine’s Day!
