If you’re hungry for a burger or classic sandwich, you’ll find those on the menu, along with favorites like meatloaf, roasted turkey, and chicken pot pie. This is food like mom used to make – the staples of the past and the foods we so often long for.
We dined with our two oldest children, who loved the kids menu. One of our children chose the classic hamburger, while another ordered french toast. I loved that they could select a breakfast or dinner item for their meal. Both kids were happy with their meal, and enjoyed the restaurant’s atmosphere. Many of the booths feature a small table jukebox – which is sure to delight kids young and old.
I ordered the fried chicken meal, and was not disappointed! It was HUGE, and everything you’d want in a classic and comforting fried 
chicken dinner. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy, choice of veggie, and cornbread. I was so full, but couldn’t stop taking bites! The chicken skin was crispy and flavorful, and I loved the creamy country gravy. The menu boasts that this meal is a must for diner-goers, and they mean it!
Eating out is often a luxury for our family. With four kids, it’s often difficult to afford anything other than fast food. I love the value of Restaurant.com and how it allows our family the opportunity to enjoy great “sit-down” restaurants like the Stardust Diner. We purchased a $15 certificate for $6. After using the certificate, 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) were able to eat for under $20! You have to love when a “real” meal at a great restaurant is a better value than a drive-thru!
