Butterscotch apples are a great little side dish I learned from my friend Becky.I always try to serve some type of fruit or vegetable with dinner, and once in awhile, it’s nice to mix it up and make our fruit a bit sweeter. It’s tasty. It’s a fun way to serve fruit, and it’s about the easiest side dish to prepare.
Ingredients
1 small box butterscotch pudding
1 1/ 2 cups milk
1 cup whipped topping
2- 3 large apples
To Prepare
1. In a medium bowl, mix together the pudding mix and milk until the pudding is free of lumps.
2. While pudding is setting up, chop your apples. Here in Washington, we get fairly large apples. If your apples are smaller, go ahead and use more than 2 or 3.
3. Stir chopped apples and whipped topping into the pudding. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
