Minnie, Sofia, and Doc oh my! The girls of Disney Jr. were the focus of our Disney Side party. We gathered together with family and friends to have some fun and celebrate Disney Jr.’s little ladies.
We threw our party in conjunction with our own little miss’s third birthday. We had a sweet feast with treats fit to please fashion-
forward mice, budding doctors, and princesses in training – oh and preschoolers and their parents too!
We served up a tie-dye Mickey cake courtesy of master baker – Duff Goldman. You can check out his cake mixes here! (*aff link) They were so easy to make – even for novice bakers! It was just too pretty to frost! Harper loved her rainbow-colored cake.
We also served up some pink-dusted meringues – just the thing for little princesses to munch on. The girls donned fancy hats and practiced sipping tea like ladies. We might not be quite ready to pass a test at Royal Prep, but I think we’re well on our way. 😉
While we partied, we listened to the Doc McStuffins CD (*aff link), and I think just about every party-goer had a check-up! (It’s okay if they giggled, it only tickled a little…I can’t help myself!) Since our last #disneyside party centered around Mickey with plenty of red and blue accents, we focused on purples, pinks, and rainbows this time around. My two girly-girls were in preschool princess heaven! 
There is something so magical and special about watching a group of kids who are growing up feeling empowered and free to be whoever they want to be – be it a fashion designer like Minnie, a doctor like Doc, or a kind-hearted princess like Sophia. The girls of Disney Jr. are warm, kind, loyal, and creative. What parent doesn’t hope those things for her own children?! I’m proud to showcase these Disney ladies to my kiddos.
