There’s no place like the theater. There’s no place like the theater. There’s no place like the theater. The Wizard of Oz the Musical will send you far beyond the rainbow, taking you on a magical ride. Fans of all ages will embrace this musical adaptation of this timeless story.
There is nothing quite like watching one of the most beloved stories of all time come alive before your eyes. See all the characters you’ve come to know and love in a show that so perfectly blends the classic nostalgia of the original with bits of humor and more modern updates. During the show you’ll hear the songs you know by heart, as well as a few NEW songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Sarah Lasko as Dorothy will capture your heart. She shines on stage as Dorothy – delighting the audience with her spunk, charm, and incredible voice. (2 bars into “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and I was weeping!) As she journeys through Oz, you’ll meet two wonderfully cast witches – Shani Hadjian as the Wicked Witch of the West and Rachel Womble as Glinda. Glinda is wonderfully updated and the life of the party in Munchkinland. The Wicked Witch of the West is delightfully wicked and makes a surprise appearance you may not expect!
Aaron Fried stars as perhaps the most culturally updated character, the Cowardly Lion – and is altogether lovable and fabulous! His humor is warm and he breathes new life into the role. Jay McGill is the perfect Tin Man – the protector of the group. You’ll love the charm and comedic timing of Morgan Reynolds as the Scarecrow.
