I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events. Even though I receive these benefits, I always give an opinion that is 100% mine.
We look forward to Disney on Ice every year. Seeing our favorite Disney characters and stories come to life (on ice!!!!) is truly amazing. The shows are presented with a generous sprinkling of pixie dust and plenty of Disney magic. Through story, song, and special effects, audience guests are treated to an incredible night featuring characters from 4 beloved films.
This year’s show features songs and characters from Toy Story 3, The Little Mermaid, Cars, and Frozen. And as with any Disney on Ice show, you’re sure to see Mickey and friends too!
This year’s show, Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment did not disappoint! The show began with a delightful Toy Story 3 vignette. This was the first time we’d seen the Toy Story crew on the ice, so our family LOVED this part of the show. Barbie and Ken stole the show – bringing big laughs and lots of energy.
Next up was my four year old daughter’s favorite – The Little Mermaid! Her eyes lit up with wonder as soon as she heard the opening notes to “Under the Sea.” She was beyond excited to see Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and Prince Eric. The Little Mermaid segment was full of music, dance, and a special effect that delighted the whole arena.
There is nothing like watching your child’s face light up with pure joy and delight. Your kids are going to LOVE this show!!!
After intermission, the Cars crew took the stage. Life-size working cars drove around the ice while “Life is a Highway” played. My kindergarten son was SO looking forward to seeing Lightning McQueen and Mater, and was thrilled with their performance. The details of each of the Cars vehicles was incredible – complete with moving eyes and mouths! Just incredible!
Last up, audience-goers were treated to the highlights of Frozen – including all your favorite songs! (There’s nothing quite like hearing an entire arena of people singing “Let It Go!”) Olaf is the star of the show, bringing comedy and a warmth only a snowman can bring. =) Not only will you be treated to music….you’ll also be treated to SNOW!!! Pure Disney magic!!
