It’s March! Not only is it almost time for spring, it’s time for March Madness! While we are die-hard college football fans (Go Buckeyes!), we’re not all that into college hoops. To get my kids in on the fun of creating a bracket and experiencing some of the fun of March Madness, I decided to create a Picture Book Bracket Challenge.
32 books will be read, but only one will become our March Madness Picture Book Champion!
Each day I will read a pair of stories to my children, and they will select the winner. You can check back in daily to see which books will be advancing to the Sweet 16, the Elite 8, the Final 4, and the Championship Round.
*For this year’s challenge, I selected 32 of my favorite picture books that are part of our home collection. While several of the stories are familiar to my children, I tried not to pick books that are current “bedtime story favorites.” The books were placed into pairs at random.
