For our family, Easter is so much more than bunnies and brightly colored eggs. It goes beyond baskets filled with candies and girls in fancy dresses. Easter is the cornerstone of my Christian faith, and I want my children to know and love the Easter story, as they begin to grow in their own faith.

Resurrection eggs are an easy and fun way to introduce your children to the Easter story. Each day, you’ll open one of the eggs, and learn another piece of this incredible story of God’s love and ultimate sacrifice for us.

First, collect a dozen plastic eggs. Number the eggs 1-12.

Next, print off this sheet containing the 12 verses you will need to create your eggs. Click HERE for the printable sheet of verses you will need!

Place the special object noted for each day, along with that day’s scripture inside the appropriate egg.

Open one egg each day, leading up to Easter Sunday, when you will open the final egg.
